It's alot more fun if you ignore them completely after thier first and second question, and when they ask a third time, act like you you didn't even notice them.

Also, if you stalk them through the isles and everytime they look at you go to ask them if they need help, but then stop before saying anything and turn away. Continue to do this until they leave....and then watch them through the window longingly as they get into the car.
