PATIENCE I DON'T HAVE
driving home from dad's on thanksgiving. around 4pm. saw people camped out in front of best buy and compusa. tents and everything. waiting for the friday morning starter pistol sound of the keys unlocking the doors. plus it's cold. hope it's worth it.I wonder how far "getting there early" could go? camping out wednesday night?

Yes, our local Starbucks had a sign on the door that said "We'll open at 4:30 AM on Friday to 'help you' get a start to Black Friday." Yeah "we're here for you"..... I wonder what poor schmuck drew the short straw to go in at 3:30 AM.

I've worked retail on several Black Fridays and it sucks....people turn from being assholes to SUPER ASSHOLES (with capes and everything!)
Nothing like capitalism and consumerism draining away the holiday spirit.
I'm thinking the wife and I should start going to Key West or Italy for Xmas ;-)

The really big mall, here, opened at 12AM Thursday.
